ABOUT
Owen Devlin is a Glasgow-based composer, producer, and songwriter whose work spans cinematic, ambient, electronic, and orchestral styles. His work began as a self-taught musician, driven by a lifelong passion for music that tells a story. Inspired from a young age by scores like Stanley Myers’ Cavatina (The Deer Hunter) and Thomas Newman’s Shawshank Redemption, Owen’s work is focused on creating music that enhances and interacts with visuals.
With a cinematic approach to composition, he crafts pieces that amplify emotion, transform scenes, and bring stories to life. Whether for television, trailers, or original projects, Owen continues to explore new sounds and textures, creating music that resonates as powerfully with audiences as the scores that first inspired him.
Since his debut solo album in 2016, Owen has released multiple full-length albums and production works that have been featured globally in TV, film, and advertising.
Over the years, Owen has composed for a number of high-profile commercial campaigns, including The National Trust for Scotland, Reiss Clothing, and Dalmore Whiskey, helping brands convey story and emotion through music. He plays guitar, piano, and many folk stringed instruments, combining his instrumental skills with modern production tools to create evocative soundscapes.

Having published over 200 works across various labels, Owen offers a rich catalogue of track-selections available for licensing. His music continues to attract attention from filmmakers, media producers, and brand creatives looking for bespoke or pre-licensed music that elevates their projects.
